Silent Guardian

On that designated laundry night, the moonlight casts a soft glow as I embark on hanging clothes to dry on the rooftop. In the soft night breeze, the fabric swayed as I hung clothes on the rooftop. However, in the middle of the routine, an eerie sensation crept over me.



As I secured the clothes on the line, I couldn't stand the feeling of being observed. With each piece of clothing I hung, the feeling of an unseen presence grew stronger. I found myself stealing glances towards the adjacent rooftop, and my eyes widened in surprise.



There was a majestic white European Mouflon. Its black eyes locked onto mine, and its imposing presence sent shivers down my spine. Hands casually resting on the wall, it seemed like an otherworldly guardian overseeing my laundry routine.



Fear gripped me, and I looked away, telling myself it was just my imagination. Despite my attempt to dismiss the unease, curiosity overwhelmed me, and I stole another glance. There he was once more, but to my disbelief, his neck had elongated, reaching towards the sky.



I couldn't bear the sight, so I fled downstairs, terrified and puzzled by what I had witnessed. Little did I know, this laundry day would unfold into a mysterious tale.
